What are stretch marks? Stretch marks are those visible
lines with an off color hue that seem to appear on the surface of our
skin from the blue. Stretch marks are mainly found around the abdominal
wall but they also appear around the buttocks, thighs, breast and upper
arms. In several cases stretch marks cover a lot of large areas around
the body.
What are the causes of stretch mark? An unhealthy
diet is one of the causes of several skin problems which includes
stretch mark, also sudden gain in weight, heredity factors, sudden loss
in weight, stress, cream reaction, changes in physical conditions and
pregnancy which is the no one cause of stretch mark.
Stretch mark forms when the connective tissue is stretched beyond the
power of its flexibility due to rapid expansion or skin contraction and
this all occurs in the middle layer of the skin called the dermis. when
stretch marks appear on the skin surface it initially appears as a red
or pink mark but over time it becomes a thin silvery line.

Stretch mark comes with a whole gift box of feelings and none of them
are good, Stretch marks can make you feel uncomfortable about your
appearance because what to wear would be about covering up those marks
and it also makes one feel self-conscious.
What Remedies to try?
There are many ways to reduce the appearance of stretch marks they include the following:
#1. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is one natural remedy that is good for a lot of skin
problem and that includes stretch marks. Its properties helps to get rid
of stretch marks. once you squeeze out the gel from the Aloe Vera, rub
directly on the affected part of your skin and leave for 15 minutes and
then rinse the skin with lukewarm water. if that’s not enough for you
then make a one-fourth cup mixture of Aloe Vera gel, 10 vitamin E
capsules oil and 5 vitamin A capsules. Rub this mixture on the affected
area until fully absorbed, do this daily.

#2. Sugar
Awkward to see sugar on the list, well don’t be surprised because
natural sugar is one of the best remedies for getting rid of stretch
marks as the sugar is used to exfoliate
the skin. get a table spoon of raw sugar with some almond oil and a few
drops of lemon juice, mix together and apply on the stretch marks
whilst rubbing it gently for a few minutes, do this everyday before
taking a shower.

#3. Castor Oil
Asides from treating fine lines, pimples and other skin ailments,
castor oil can also be used for the treatment of stretch mark. Apply
castor oil to the areas where the stretch mark is then massage in a
circular motion for about 10 minutes after which you wrap the area with a
thin cotton cloth.apply heat to the area for half an hour using a hot
water bottle or heating pad. Repeat this process for a minimum of a
month to see the results.

#4. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice
has natural acids which helps to heal and reduce acne, scars and
stretch mark indeed using lemon juice is one of the simplest ways to
reduce stretch mark. Get a fresh lemon squeeze out the juice and then
rub in circular strokes, allow the juice to soak into your skin for at
least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. You can also mix
the lemon juice with cucumber juice and apply on the stretch marks.

#5. Potato Juice
Potato
contains a lot of minerals that help growth and skin cell restoration.
get a potato and cut into thick slices, then take a piece and rub it
gently on the stretch marks making sure the starch from the potato
covers the affected area for a few minutes, make sure it drys out for a
while before washing off with Luke-warm water.
#6. Egg white
Egg white
are a source of protein and amino acids. get two eggs and sieve out the
egg white then whip them together using a fork after which you should
clean the affected ares with water and then apply a thick layer of egg
white with a flat head brush, allow it to dry and then rinse with cold
water, afterwards moisturize your skin with olive oil. Repeat this
process at most 3 times a week.
